Sounds delicious. I wish I could do more of these type of meals....quick and easy. I do agree that pesto would have given it a lift too but....hunger pays no heed to time

These were AWESOME!!! I often find vegan baking to be bland. Not these!!! I made them minus the nuts and the rum. I added extra cinnamon, extra vanilla and used dark brown sugar for the 0.5 cup of sugar. Many happy eaters!!! :)
I am excited to try a few more modifications including the addition of carrot and/or shredded coconut. I'll be sharing this recipe with many!!! Thank you!!!

It's great how a meal out can inspire you to test out a recipe of your own at home. it is great to eat out, but it's nice to do it yourself too.

Hey Nancy, I just posted about your recipe and had to read your bio. My mother and grandmothers were also great cooks/bakers. I just ran my first 1/2 marathon! If you are still having plantar fasciitis , here are a couple of helpful hints. Put a plastic water bottle in the freezer and use it as a "roller" under your foot. A tennis ball is also good, but the cold is really great.

These sound great and will make them next time I need a dessert. I also have a recipe for Chocolate Zucchini Cake that I want to make healthier, so will use your recipe as a guide. I am attending IIN right now and am having SO much fun trying all the new recipes. My sweet tooth seems to have disappeared but there are always times when we need a healthy sweet. Thanks!

I love the vegan veggie burger idea. I usually use egg but I'm looking forward to giving this better option a try. Thanks for the great recipe!
